Date:
21 June 2021

Between 10:00  and 13:00 on 21 June, SSHOC will take over the Twitter account of partner organisation CLARIN to promote the SSH Vocabulary Initiative, to be highlighted at the ICTeSSH2021 pre-conference conference workshop SSH Vocabulary Initiative - What users Want on June 28.

Iulianna van der Lek who is Training and Education Officer at CLARIN  will preside over the session to answer user questions about the initiative.

The SSH vocabularies are essential for a proper description of resources and phenomena and in SSHOC many tasks are concerned with them. In SSHOC, a specific “Vocabulary Initiative” was launched last year to coordinate related vocabulary activities and investigate, inform and exchange expertise on vocabularies and the platforms that are hosting and managing them. Participants in the Twitter Takeover will have the opportunity to:

  • Discover the precise nature of the SSH Vocabulary Initiatives and what resources will be available initially
  • Learn about the next steps in developing the SSH Vocabulary Initiatives  further and the plans to foster community engagement
  • Get to tell SSH Vocabulary Initiative experts about your use of vocabulary in your research via twitter polls.

Got a question? Please email it now to info@sshopencloud.eu or tweet @CLARINERIC on the day.

For the purpose of the Twitter Takeover the hashtag #SSHOCifyCLARIN and #SSHOCaVocabulary have been created.

Join us on 21 June to follow the conversation!
